MySyara Car Service Centre in Al Quoz is excellent. Professional staff, quick service, and great attention to detail. Highly recommend.
Nissan Altima service in Dubai, from AED 350.
The Altima is the most serviced car in our Dubai workshops, and two things decide whether one reaches high mileage cheaply: the CVT fluid, and how much oil the 2.5 is using. We check both at every service. Mobil fully synthetic oil, 6 month warranty.

How it works
Serviced and back, same day
Book a slot, tell us the year and mileage, and collect it the same day in most cases.
Tell us the year
It matters on an Altima. The CVT generation and the state of the 2.5 engine both vary, and the year tells us whether to prioritise the gearbox fluid, the oil consumption check, or both.
We collect or you drop in
Drop the car at Al Quoz, Umm Ramool or Wadi Al Amardi, or ask for collection from most of Dubai. The service is fixed-price, so the figure does not move unless the inspection finds something and you approve it.
Inspected, serviced, returned
Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, fluids topped up, a full inspection, plus the two Altima-specific checks: CVT fluid condition and the oil level against the last visit.
Pricing
Altima service prices in Dubai
The Altima prices as a tier-1 sedan, the cheapest band we have, which is a large part of why it is the most common car in our workshops. Every figure below is fixed before you book.
Minor service
Every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first
Major service
Every 30,000 to 40,000 km or 2 years. Adds filters, plugs and wipers
The CVT and the rest
The item that matters most on this car
- Mobil fully synthetic oil and a new oil filter on every service, minor or major
- CVT fluid condition reported, with a change from AED 250 if it is due
- 6 month service warranty on the work, as standard
A CVT fluid change at AED 250 is the cheapest insurance an Altima owner can buy.

Coverage
Altima servicing across Dubai
Workshops in Al Quoz, Umm Ramool and Wadi Al Amardi, with collection from most of Dubai if you would rather not drive in.
Tell us the year when you book. The CVT and the 2.5 engine both changed across generations, and it decides what we check first.
What customers say
I had major service work done on my car, and everything was clearly explained and handled professionally. The team was transparent, helpful, and honest about what needed to be done and what could wait.
They are very professional, took my car and returned it back on time, they checked all the mechanical aspects of the car and advised on some replacements. Mr. Mohammad Saheer was the adviser, he was so helpful.

Two things decide how long an Altima lasts here
The Altima is the single most serviced car in our Dubai workshops, which means we see the full range: cars at 40,000 km and cars at 300,000 km, and the difference between them is rarely dramatic.
It comes down to two items. The CVT fluid, and how much oil the 2.5 litre engine is using. Get those right and an Altima is one of the cheapest cars to run in this city. Ignore either and the bill arrives as a gearbox or an engine rather than a service.
Everything else on the car is ordinary. These two are not, and they are what we check at every visit rather than every third.
The CVT, and why Dubai is its hardest posting
Most Altimas drive through a continuously variable transmission. Rather than fixed gears it uses a steel belt gripping between two variable-width pulleys, and the fluid does more than lubricate: it carries the friction properties the belt relies on. Nissan specifies NS-3 for most modern applications, and it is not interchangeable with ordinary automatic transmission fluid.
Now consider what this city asks of it. Pulling away from a standstill is the highest-load moment the belt sees, and on Sheikh Zayed Road you do that dozens of times in one journey. The transmission’s own cooler sits at the front of the car and depends on airflow it simply does not get at crawling speed. Maximum load, repeatedly, with minimum cooling.
A motorway Altima heats its transmission steadily. A Dubai commuter Altima heats it in the worst possible way, hundreds of times a week.
A fluid change is from AED 250. We report the condition at every service so you are deciding with information rather than guessing.
The 2.5 and the oil it uses
This is the part most Altima owners are never told, and it is worth understanding properly rather than being alarmed by.
The QR25DE 2.5 litre engine has a well-documented tendency to consume oil as it accumulates mileage. The usual mechanism is piston ring wear, which lets oil past the rings into the combustion chamber where it burns.
There is a second path that makes it worse on some cars. The pre-catalyst sits in the exhaust manifold, close to the engine. If its substrate breaks up, debris can be drawn back into the cylinders, scoring the bores and accelerating exactly the ring wear that causes consumption. Nissan has acknowledged this pattern, and it is why a high-mileage 2.5 that suddenly starts using oil is often telling you about its exhaust rather than just its age.
Here is why it matters more in Dubai than almost anywhere. An engine that uses oil between services is fine as long as the level stays up. An engine that uses oil and runs low in 45ยฐC heat is a different proposition, because oil is what carries heat away from the bearings and the rings.
So we measure the level, write it down, and compare it with your last visit. If the car is using oil you get the rate, not a quiet top-up. Knowing it uses half a litre every 5,000 km is manageable information. Finding out at a roadside is not.
Check it yourself between services
On an Altima this is worth the two minutes. Park level, engine off and cool, pull the dipstick, wipe it, reinsert fully, pull again and read.
If you are a litre down between services, the car is telling you something and we would rather hear about it early. There is no catch here and nothing to buy: a litre of the correct oil costs very little next to the alternative.
Minor or major, and why Dubai shortens the interval
A minor service is the routine one, every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months. Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, cleaning of the air and cabin filters, fluids topped up, a full inspection, plus the CVT and oil-level checks above. AED 350.
A major service is typically every third, around 30,000 to 40,000 km or every two years, and replaces rather than cleans: air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs and wiper blades. AED 775.
The unusual part in this city is that the time limit often bites before the distance. A car doing short trips in traffic can take a year to cover 10,000 km while accumulating more hours of hot running than a motorway car does in half the distance. Oil degrades with heat and hours under load, not kilometres alone. A low-mileage Dubai Altima is not automatically a lightly used one.
The timing chain, briefly
Worth knowing rather than worrying about. The QR25DE uses a timing chain rather than a belt, so there is no scheduled replacement interval.
Chains do wear, though not in the way people assume: the links themselves do not stretch, the pins wear and the pin holes elongate, which lengthens the chain overall. On a high-mileage engine that can show up as a rattle on startup. It is not a service item, it is an inspection item, and we listen for it rather than selling you a chain you do not need.
What else the inspection turns up
Batteries rarely see a third UAE summer and are the failure that most often strands people, so a battery test at service time is worth more here than in most climates. Brake pads get measured rather than estimated, because stop-start traffic wears them unevenly. Coolant condition every visit, and a radiator flush is AED 225 if due.
Anything found is quoted for your approval, and if it is a repair rather than maintenance it is priced separately.
