Book and tell us the year
The year settles whether yours is the automatic or the CVT and which oil spec it takes. On a Maxima we also want to know how the front tyres are wearing.
Mechanic comes to you
Fully equipped van at your home or office anywhere in Dubai, or drop it at one of our workshops if you would rather. Fixed price, agreed before the visit.
Serviced and inspected
Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, fluids topped up and a multi-point inspection with the front axle checked closely. Anything found is reported with a price, never just done.
Pricing
Maxima service prices in Dubai
The Maxima prices at the tier-1 saloon rate, the cheapest band we publish, despite being the biggest saloon Nissan sells here. Alignment and tyre rotation are listed separately because on a front-drive V6 they are the cheap half of keeping the car honest.
Minor service
Every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first
Major service
Every 30,000 to 40,000 km or 2 years. Adds filters, plugs and wipers
Front axle & tyres
The cheap half of owning a front-drive V6
Fluids & extras
Added only when the inspection or your mileage calls for it
- Mobil fully synthetic oil and a new oil filter on every service, minor or major
- Doorstep minor service anywhere in Dubai at the same price as the workshop
- 6 month service warranty on the work, as standard
Front tyres wearing unevenly? That is the front axle talking. Alignment is AED 200.

Coverage
Maxima servicing across Dubai
Our mechanic comes to your home or office for a minor service, or drop it at Al Quoz, Umm Ramool or Wadi Al Amardi.
A doorstep minor service is available across Dubai at the workshop price. Tell us the year when you book, because on a Maxima the front axle and the oil are what we want to look at first.
What customers say
They are very professional, took my car and returned it back on time, they checked all the mechanical aspects of the car and advised on some replacements. Mr. Mohammad Saheer was the adviser, he was so helpful.
One of the finest services I have seen from a car garage. They are so professional. Amazing work, thank you so much.

A V6 that drives its front wheels
The Maxima is an unusual thing: a genuinely powerful V6 saloon that sends all of that power through the front wheels. Most cars carrying this much engine drive the rear, or split the load across all four. The Maxima puts it through the front axle alone.
That one fact decides what the car costs to own. The front axle is doing two jobs at once, steering the car and putting the power down, and on a Maxima it does the second job harder than almost anything else in its class. The parts that absorb the strain are the front tyres, the front brakes, the wheel alignment and the bushes and arms of the front suspension. They wear faster here than they would on a rear-drive saloon of the same size, and they are the first things we look at when a Maxima arrives.
The earliest visible evidence is almost always the front tyres. Uneven wear across the tread, one edge going before the other, the fronts finishing long before the rears: that pattern is the car telling you the front axle is working hard and the geometry has drifted. It is the cheap warning that comes before the expensive bill.
The cheap half and the expensive half of owning one
Here is the whole argument for servicing a Maxima on the front axle rather than the odometer, in two numbers.
A wheel alignment is AED 200. A tyre rotation is AED 50. Done on time, those two jobs are the cheap half of owning this car. They keep the front tyres wearing evenly, they hold the geometry where the torque has not yet dragged it, and they stop the suspension from loading one side harder than the other. On a front-drive V6 that is not a luxury, it is maintenance in the same way the oil change is.
Skip them, and the expensive half turns up. A front lower control arm is AED 800. When the alignment is left wrong for long enough, the bushes and joints in the front suspension take the punishment the geometry should have been absorbing, and a control arm is what you replace when they wear out. The arithmetic is not subtle: a few hundred dirhams of alignment and rotation over the life of a set of tyres, against AED 800 for the arm that fails when they are neglected, plus the tyres you wore out early getting there. Sway bar end links, at AED 175, sit in the same bracket, usually the right answer to a knock over speed bumps.
Oil discipline, because the engine depends on it
There is a second reason the Maxima rewards attention, and it sits inside the service rather than alongside it.
The VQ V6 under the bonnet uses a hydraulic timing-chain tensioner, and a hydraulic tensioner is only as good as the oil feeding it. That is the quiet reason oil discipline matters more on this engine than the service sticker suggests. The oil here is not only lubrication, it is what holds the timing chain in tension. Let the level drop or the oil tire, and you are not merely risking ordinary wear, you are taking pressure away from a part that needs it to do its job.
So every Maxima service we do is built around getting the oil right. Mobil fully synthetic in the correct grade, a new filter every time, and the level recorded as found on arrival so you leave with a real figure for your own car rather than a general assurance. If yours is using oil between services, that is worth knowing early, and we will tell you plainly rather than quietly topping it up and saying nothing. The repair page explains why a Maxima that is low on oil can start making a noise its owner mistakes for a worn-out engine. The service is where you stop that story before it starts.
Tier 1, the cheapest band we publish
AED 350 minor, AED 775 major. The Maxima prices at the tier-1 saloon rate despite being the largest saloon Nissan sells here, which is the practical reason a high-mileage one stays worth keeping.
A minor service covers Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, cleaning of the air and cabin filters, all fluids topped up and a multi-point inspection, with the front axle given a proper look rather than a glance. In Dubai that can happen at your home or office at the same price as the workshop, in about an hour.
A major service is typically every third visit, around 30,000 to 40,000 km or every two years, and it replaces rather than cleans: air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs and wiper blades. AED 775, better done at a workshop, and we can collect the car.
The gearbox, in one paragraph
Depending on the year, the Maxima here is either a conventional automatic or a CVT. Either way the gearbox wants clean fluid rather than attention only once it starts misbehaving. A fluid change is AED 250, or AED 375 with the filter. We will tell you what the fluid actually looks like on inspection rather than selling the change by default at every visit, and the work is workshop-based in either case.
What Dubai does to a Maxima
A few items the inspection always covers, because the climate and the traffic punish them.
Battery, which heat kills faster than age does and usually without warning, so we test rather than guess. Front brakes, measured in millimetres and reported as a number: on a front-drive V6 the fronts do even more of the stopping than usual and wear well ahead of the rears, so knowing the figure lets you time the replacement. Coolant condition, because cooling systems lose their margin quietly over several summers here. And tyres, read for the age of the rubber as well as the tread, and for the wear pattern that tells us about the alignment.
Anything flagged comes with a price. If it is a repair rather than maintenance, a cold-start rattle, weak AC or a worn control arm, it is quoted separately and you decide.
