Engine oil in the UAE works harder than most manufacturer schedules assume. Sustained high temperatures and the stop-start crawl of Dubai traffic in summer break down oil faster than moderate climates. An oil that was fine at 5,000 km in a European car might be degraded at 4,000 km in Dubai summer driving.
The result of leaving overdue oil in place is avoidable wear. Not a dramatic failure, just gradual damage to bearings, cam followers and the valve train that a timely oil change would have prevented.
Oil drained properly: The drain plug is removed, the old oil runs out completely, and the plug is replaced with a new washer. A mechanic who tops up instead of draining is doing you a disservice.
A new filter, always: Every MySyara oil change includes a new oil filter matched to your engine. The filter holds contaminants; reusing one with fresh oil defeats the purpose of the service.
Right grade for your engine: 5W-30, 5W-40, 0W-20. The grade is set by the manufacturer. MySyara selects the correct specification for your car at booking. We use Mobil 1 as the recommended brand across our service network.
Oil level confirmed: Before the mechanic signs off, the dipstick (or electronic reading) is checked. You drive away knowing the level and pressure are correct.
Workshop: drop in at any of three MySyara service centres across Dubai: Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, Umm Ramool (Rashidiya), or Wadi Al Amardi. Most oil changes are completed within 90 minutes. Wait on-site or drop the car and come back.

A reasonable starting point is every 5,000 km for semi-synthetic and every 10,000 km for full synthetic, but check your car’s manual, since some engines specify shorter or longer intervals. If your car has been sitting for several months or spending a lot of time idling in traffic, change earlier regardless of the odometer.
MySyara checks the current oil condition at every visit. If the oil looks acceptable and the interval has not been reached, we will say so.
