Here is the thing most Lexus owners do not know until the first bill arrives somewhere other than the dealer: Lexus prices in tier 2 in our catalogue, the same band as Volkswagen, Ford and Chevrolet, and a full tier below Mercedes, BMW and Audi.
That is not a discount, it reflects what the parts actually cost. The figures:

Same segment of the market, materially different cost of ownership. It is the strongest practical argument for the brand, and it holds up long after the warranty expires.
The engine is rarely the problem
A Lexus is a Toyota underneath, and that matters more than the badge does. The engines and gearboxes come from the most conservative engineering culture in the industry, which is why the mechanical side of these cars so rarely produces drama.
What this means in practice: when a Lexus comes in with a complaint, the cause is usually not the powertrain. It is the hardware that makes it a Lexus rather than a Toyota.
Adaptive or air suspension on an LS, LX or GX. A complex multi-zone climate system. Electric seat and steering adjustment. Sensors and modules that a Camry simply does not have.
So the inspection weights accordingly. The oil and filters are routine and we do them properly, but the attention goes to the comfort and chassis systems, because that is where wear shows up first on a car like this.
Air suspension is quoted, not listed
If your LS, LX or GX rides on air or adaptive dampers, we check ride height and system behaviour at every service. What we will not do is publish a price for it.
The reason is honesty. A suspension fault on these cars can be a height sensor, a valve, an air spring or the compressor, and those are four very different bills. Any single figure would be wrong for most owners, either frightening people away from a modest repair or understating a significant one. So we inspect, then quote the actual fault.

In Dubai the shorter interval is generally right, for the familiar two reasons: heat shortens oil life, and fine dust shortens filter life.
The LX and GX are Land Cruisers in a suit
Worth knowing if you own one. The LX and GX share their underpinnings with the Toyota Land Cruiser and Prado, which is excellent news for durability and relevant for maintenance.
They have a transfer case with its own oil, from AED 325, and if the vehicle ever sees sand that item matters more than the service book implies. Gearbox fluid is from AED 350, or AED 525 with a filter, and on a heavy vehicle in this climate fluid condition is the cheapest lever available.
Anything the inspection flags is reported with a price, and if it is a repair rather than maintenance it is quoted separately.
