Wonderful work. I received the car as new as the agency. My car is a Mazda 3 2015, and even the sound of the car became silent. Very kind team, and special thanks to Mr Saif.

How it works
Serviced and back, same day
Book a slot, tell us the year and mileage, and collect it the same day in most cases.
Tell us the year and mileage
The model year helps, because the earlier cars have their own brake history. Tell us the mileage and we will tell you whether yours is due a minor or a major.
We collect or you drop in
Al Quoz, Umm Ramool or Wadi Al Amardi, or collection from most of Dubai. A doorstep minor service is available at the workshop price. The service price is fixed before the car moves.
Serviced, and the brakes measured
Mobil fully synthetic oil to grade, a new oil filter, fluids topped up, a multi-point inspection, and the front and rear brakes measured with the parking brake release checked.
Pricing
CX-5 service prices in Dubai
The CX-5 prices as a tier 1 SUV, which is the lowest service tier we charge. Every figure here is fixed before you book. Brake pads and discs are quoted, because on this car there is a parking brake question to answer first.
Minor service
Every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first
Major service
Every 30,000 to 40,000 km or 2 years. Adds filters, plugs and wipers
Brakes
Measured in mm every visit, replaced only when the number says so
Checks & fluids
Only when due, and priced the same before you book
- Mobil fully synthetic oil to the correct grade on every service, minor or major
- Brakes measured in millimetres front and rear, with the parking brake release checked
- 6 month service warranty on the work, as standard
You get the brake thickness in millimetres, not an opinion. Plan the replacement on your own terms.

Coverage
CX-5 servicing across Dubai
Workshops in Al Quoz, Umm Ramool and Wadi Al Amardi, with collection from most of Dubai if you would rather not drive in. A doorstep minor service is available in Dubai.
The CX-5 here is an automatic, so there is no clutch and no CVT to worry about. The rear brakes are what we watch, because on this car they can wear in a way that is not the driver’s fault.
What customers say
My Mazda CX-5 had a lot of dents and scratches that needed to be fixed. MySyara absolutely nailed the job. Apart from the dent repairs, they also made sure the colour mixing to get the Mazda's unique soul red crystal was on point.
Again MySyara surprised me with their amazing services, really they are my favourite. The best all-in-one car service, whatever you need they can do it. They do it on time, perfect quality, good communication, and give you honest and good advice.

Minor AED 425, major AED 900, fixed before you book. Mobil synthetic oil, the brakes measured front and rear, and the parking brake release checked.
Fixed price upfront. Anything the inspection finds is quoted, never assumed.
The brakes get measured, not glanced at
On a CX-5 the brakes are the part that reaches the end of its life first, and on this car there is a specific reason the rear ones can wear in a way that looks wrong. So we do not eyeball them through the wheel and call them fine. We measure the pads and discs, front and rear, and write the thickness down in millimetres so you have a number to compare against next time.
That one habit changes what a service is for. Instead of being told a brake job is urgent on a day you did not expect, you watch a figure tick down over two or three visits and decide when to act. A pad at 4mm is not a problem to solve today; a pad at 4mm you only hear about at 1mm is, and an avoidable one.
Everything else on this page is the ordinary business of keeping a family SUV healthy in a hot city, done properly rather than quickly. The CX-5 is not a complicated car to look after. It is a car that rewards someone actually looking.
The rear pads, specifically
There is a second reason the rear of this car earns a closer look, and most workshops skip it.
The CX-5 has an electric parking brake, and on this model it can fail to release completely. When it does, it drags against the rear disc. The result is rear pads that wear unevenly, often on the outer pad in particular, and a brake that can make noise. None of that is the sign of a cheap pad or a heavy-footed driver, which is the usual assumption when a workshop sees odd rear wear.
So at service we check that the parking brake genuinely releases, rather than trusting that the light on the dashboard went out. It is a two minute check that tells you whether the rear pads you are about to measure are wearing honestly or being chewed by a brake that will not let go. The full story of why this happens, and what to do about it, is on the CX-5 repair page, because once it is dragging it becomes a repair rather than a service item.
For a service, what matters is simpler: we look for it, and we tell you if we see it.
What a minor service covers, for AED 425
The CX-5 prices as a tier 1 SUV. That is the lowest service tier we charge, so the fact that it is an SUV does not make it expensive to maintain.
A minor service is AED 425 and includes Mobil fully synthetic oil to the correct grade, a new oil filter, cleaning of the air and cabin filters, all fluids topped up, and a multi-point inspection. The inspection is where the brake measurement happens, front and rear, along with the parking brake release check. The car is usually back the same day and the work carries a 6 month service warranty.
An oil change on its own, if that is genuinely all the car needs, is from AED 230. We will tell you honestly which of the two you are due rather than selling the larger one by default.
The minor service is the every-5,000-to-10,000-km visit, or every six months, whichever arrives first. In this climate we would use the shorter end of that range, and the section on oil below explains why.
The major service, AED 900
A major service is AED 900 and does everything the minor does, then replaces rather than cleans. A new air filter, a new cabin filter, new spark plugs and new wiper blades go in alongside the oil, oil filter, fluids and inspection.
It is typically due every third service, or around every 30,000 to 40,000 km. If you are not sure where your car sits, send us the mileage and we will tell you plainly whether you need the major or whether the minor will do for now. There is no benefit to anyone in you paying for a major service a year early.
Spark plugs on their own are AED 200 if you only want those done, for instance between major services on a car that does a lot of short hot trips.
Oil matters more on a Skyactiv than the price suggests
The CX-5’s Skyactiv-G petrol engine runs an unusually high compression ratio for a naturally aspirated engine. That is where its fuel efficiency comes from, and it also means the oil works harder than in an ordinary engine of the same size. Harder-working oil degrades sooner, and heat accelerates it: a Dubai summer gives an engine bay that barely cools between trips and traffic that keeps everything hot without much airflow. The published oil interval was written for a gentler climate than this one.
So we use Mobil fully synthetic to the correct grade on every service, minor or major, and we lean to the shorter end of the interval here. Neither is an upsell. The oil is included in the service price, and choosing the earlier date costs you nothing until it arrives.
The daytime running lights, a small honest aside
One of the more commonly reported CX-5 niggles across model years is a daytime running light that stops working. It is worth mentioning because it is cheap and because people worry it is a sign of something larger, which it usually is not.
If a DRL has gone dark, say so when you book and we will check it while the car is in. It is the kind of thing that is far easier to sort during a service you were having anyway than to make a separate trip for. Not every noticed fault on this car is expensive, and this is one of the cheap ones.
A doorstep minor service, in Dubai
If driving to a workshop is the inconvenient part, a minor service can come to you anywhere in Dubai, at the same price as the workshop. That covers the oil, filters and fluids, which is the bulk of what a minor service is.
What stays at the workshop is the measured brake work: the rear pads and the parking brake release are checked with the wheels off, which is not a driveway job. So the routine maintenance can come to your door, and the brake inspection is done where it can be done properly. Collection from most of Dubai is the third option. Doorstep service is a Dubai offering and is not available in the other emirates.
The extras, priced before you book
Everything that might come up at a service on this car has a fixed price, so nothing is a surprise. A gearbox fluid change is AED 275, or AED 425 with a new filter; the CX-5 uses a conventional automatic, not a CVT, so this is a straightforward fluid service, worth doing on a car with real mileage even where the fluid is called lifetime. A cabin filter is AED 75 and an air filter AED 100, both worth replacing rather than endlessly cleaning on a car living in city dust. A radiator flush and refill is AED 225, an AC gas top-up AED 150, a wheel alignment AED 200, a tyre rotation AED 50 and a general check AED 150.
Brake pads and discs are the one thing not on the fixed list, and deliberately so. On this car the first question is whether the rear pads are wearing honestly or being dragged by the parking brake, and the answer changes the job. So we measure, tell you the numbers, and quote the brake work once we know what it actually is.
A note on coolant
If your concern is coolant rather than oil, that belongs with a different car. The coolant story on the Mazda SUV range, with its Mazda bulletin, sits on the CX-9 page and applies to that model, so we are not going to borrow it here and imply it is your car’s problem. On a CX-5 service, coolant is simply a fluid we check the level and condition of, and a radiator flush is AED 225 when it is due. If we see a loss we cannot account for, we inspect rather than guess.
