What customers say

4.4
Across 11,600+ reviews on Google and the MySyara app

Wonderful work. I received the car as new as the agency. My car is a Mazda 3 2015, and even the sound of the car became silent. Very kind team, and special thanks to Mr Saif.

My Mazda CX-5 had a lot of dents and scratches that needed to be fixed. MySyara absolutely nailed the job. Apart from the dent repairs, they also made sure the colour mixing to get the Mazda's unique soul red crystal was on point.

Again MySyara surprised me with their amazing services, really they are my favourite. The best all-in-one car service, whatever you need they can do it. They do it on time, perfect quality, good communication, and give you honest and good advice.

A minor service is AED 350 and a major service AED 775, both at the sedan rate. An oil change on its own is from AED 180, spark plugs AED 200, an air filter AED 100 and a cabin filter AED 75. On the manual, a gearbox or ATF fluid change is AED 250, or AED 375 with a filter, and a clutch replacement is from AED 950 if it is ever needed. A radiator flush is AED 225, an A/C gas top-up AED 150, wheel alignment AED 200 and tyre rotation AED 50. A doorstep minor service costs the same as bringing the car in.
Yes, and it is the thing most schedules leave out. The clutch is a wear item like pads or tyres, but unlike them it has no printed replacement interval, so it tends to be ignored until it starts to slip. On a manual Mazda3 doing Dubai stop-start traffic that moment arrives sooner than owners expect. We check how the clutch is wearing at every service and tell you where it stands, so a replacement is something you plan rather than a morning the car will not pull.
The fluid in a manual gearbox is quietly doing a hard job and almost never gets touched, because no service reminder asks for it. We check its condition at each service and suggest a change when it is due, typically on a long interval rather than every visit. A gearbox or ATF fluid change is AED 250, or AED 375 with a filter on the automatic. Clean fluid is cheap insurance against wear you cannot see until it is expensive.
Mobil fully synthetic engine oil, a new oil filter, air and cabin filter cleaning, all fluids topped up, a full fault-code scan and a multi-point inspection. On the manual cars we also check clutch wear and the gearbox fluid condition and record where they stand. The car is usually back the same day and the work carries a 6 month service warranty.
Yes, a minor service anywhere in Dubai at the same price as the workshop. The mechanic arrives in a fully equipped van with Mobil fully synthetic oil, the filter and the tools, so the car does not leave your building. A clutch replacement and heavier gearbox work are workshop jobs because the car needs lifting, and we can collect it.
Yes. The Skyactiv petrol engine runs an unusually high compression ratio for a naturally aspirated design, which is where its economy comes from and which also means the oil works harder. The answer is simple: fully synthetic oil of the correct grade, changed on time, and on the shorter end of the interval in a Dubai summer. We use Mobil fully synthetic on every service, minor or major.
Yes. Every periodic service carries a 6 month service warranty on the work carried out. If something related comes back within that window, bring the car in.

The Mazda3 is a manual, and that changes the service

Most cars we service here are automatic, and most service schedules are written as if the gearbox looks after itself. The Mazda3 is one of the genuine exceptions. It is a car people buy on running cost and often buy with the manual, and it is actually driven that way in Dubai traffic, which is three pedals in constant stop-start use.

That one fact changes what a proper service should cover. A manual gearbox has a clutch, and a clutch is a wear item. It is no different in principle from brake pads or tyres: it gets used up, and one day it needs replacing. The difference is that nobody prints an interval for it. Oil has a schedule, filters have a schedule, even the brake fluid has a schedule. The clutch has none, so it tends to be forgotten until the day it starts to slip. On a Mazda3 that lives in traffic, that day comes sooner than the owner expects.

So the way we service this car is to put the manual-specific items on the list rather than off it. The ordinary maintenance is done properly, and alongside it we look at how the clutch is wearing and what condition the gearbox fluid is in. That is the whole idea: treat the parts of a manual that have no printed timetable as routine, so you plan for them instead of being caught out by them.

The clutch wears on a timetable nobody writes down

A clutch does not fail overnight. It wears gradually, and in Dubai the wear is faster because of what the traffic asks of it: endless pulling away from a standstill, holding the car on inclines in car parks and ramps, and crawling in heat that does the friction material no favours. None of that is abuse. It is simply what driving a manual here involves, and it uses the clutch up.

The useful thing is that clutch wear can be read before it becomes a problem. The bite point creeping higher up the pedal travel, a faint smell under load, a hint of slip when you accelerate hard in a high gear: these are the early signs, and a mechanic who is looking for them will find them long before the car stops pulling. At every service on a manual Mazda3 we check how the clutch is behaving and tell you plainly where it stands. If it has plenty of life, you hear that and spend nothing. If it is getting close, you hear that too, with enough warning to plan the job rather than have it chosen for you on a bad morning.

When a clutch genuinely does need replacing, it is from AED 950, and because clutch work needs the car lifted it is a workshop job rather than a doorstep one.

Gearbox fluid, cheap now and expensive to ignore

The other manual-specific item is the gearbox fluid. It lives a hard life, lubricating gears and synchros through every shift, and it is almost never changed, because no dashboard light and no standard service asks for it. Left long enough it loses its protective qualities, and the wear that follows happens inside the gearbox where you cannot see it until it is costly to put right.

We check the fluid condition as part of a Mazda3 service and recommend a change when it is actually due, which is on a long interval rather than every visit. A gearbox or ATF fluid change is AED 250, or AED 375 with a filter on the automatic cars. Set against what internal gearbox wear costs, clean fluid on schedule is some of the cheapest insurance you can buy on this car.

Minor or major: which one is due

A minor service is the routine visit, due every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first. It is AED 350 and covers Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, air and cabin filter cleaning, all fluids topped up, a full fault-code scan and a multi-point inspection, plus the clutch and gearbox fluid check on the manual cars. In Dubai it can be done at your home or office for the same price.

A major service is typically every third visit, around 30,000 to 40,000 km or every two years, and it is AED 775. It replaces rather than cleans: a new air filter, a new cabin filter, new spark plugs and new wiper blades. Spark plugs on their own are AED 200, an air filter AED 100 and a cabin filter AED 75. If you only want the oil refreshed between services to keep the interval short in summer, an oil change on its own is from AED 180.

Skyactiv oil, kept simple

The Skyactiv petrol engine in the Mazda3 earns its economy by running a high compression ratio for a naturally aspirated engine. That is a good thing for your fuel bill, and it also means the oil is under more thermal stress than in a lazier design. Nothing exotic is needed to look after it. Fully synthetic oil of the correct grade, changed on time, is the whole answer, and in a 45ยฐC summer we lean toward the shorter end of the interval rather than the longer one. We use Mobil fully synthetic on every service, minor or major.

The ordinary maintenance, done properly

The rest of a Mazda3 service is the familiar list, done without shortcuts. The air conditioning gets looked at, because a condenser packed with fine dust presents exactly like a system low on gas and the two cost different amounts to put right; an A/C gas top-up is AED 150 if that is all it needs. The cooling system is checked for level and condition, and a radiator flush and refill is AED 225 when the coolant is due. The suspension is inspected for the bushes and dampers that age on hot roads and speed humps, and because a Mazda is tied down firmly, wear tends to announce itself early rather than hide. The brakes are measured in millimetres and the figure written down, so a replacement is something you plan for rather than are told is urgent. A wheel alignment is AED 200 and a tyre rotation AED 50 while the car is in.

One cabin note for older cars kept outdoors: Mazda has acknowledged that on some Mazda3 vehicles exposed to prolonged high heat and humidity the dashboard surface material can deteriorate and develop a sticky finish, which is cosmetic rather than mechanical.

The doorstep visit costs nothing extra

For the routine work, our mechanic comes to you. A minor service anywhere in Dubai is the same AED 350 at your home or office as at Al Quoz. The van carries Mobil fully synthetic oil, the correct filter and the tools, so the car never leaves your building, and you get the same inspection notes and clutch report. The clutch replacement and any heavier gearbox work stay at the workshop, where the car can be lifted, and for those we collect from most of Dubai.

In one line

Do the ordinary maintenance properly, and put the clutch and the gearbox fluid on the list instead of off it, because on a car that is actually driven as a manual in Dubai traffic those are the items nobody else writes down.
