Wonderful work. I received the car as new as the agency. My car is a Mazda 3 2015, and even the sound of the car became silent. Very kind team, and special thanks to Mr Saif.
Mazda Mazda3 repair in Dubai, diagnosed for AED 99.
A manual Mazda3 that is hard to shift, or that pops out of third gear, is not you driving badly. Mazda changed the shape of the clutch hub and added a surface treatment specifically to stop third gear jumping out, so this is a known matter with revised parts. We confirm what is actually worn before quoting. Diagnosis AED 99.

How it works
From a bad shift to an answer in three steps
Tell us what it is doing, we confirm what is actually worn, you get a straight recommendation with real numbers.
Describe the symptom
Baulks going into gear, pops out of third on the overrun, or the shift has gone stiff? Tell us. That pattern points at the clutch hub Mazda revised, not at how you drive.
We confirm what is worn
We inspect the clutch and the shift behaviour before anyone mentions a gearbox. The point of the AED 99 diagnosis is to separate a worn clutch from something inside the box.
You decide, with real numbers
If it is the clutch, that is from AED 950. If it is genuinely a clutch hub or internal wear, you hear that with the numbers before any money is committed.
Pricing
Mazda3 repair jobs, priced upfront
Mazda sits in our lowest price tier, so a Mazda3 is among the cheapest cars we repair. The AED 99 diagnosis confirms whether a shift problem is a worn clutch, from AED 950, or something inside the gearbox, which is quoted after inspection.
Manual gearbox & clutch
Hard shifting or third gear jumping out is a known clutch hub matter. We confirm what is worn before quoting.
Drivetrain (AWD only)
Relevant only if your Mazda3 is one of the all-wheel-drive cars.
Cooling & engine
Plastic and heat age badly here. Cheap to catch early.
AC & climate
We find the leak before refilling, so you do not buy the gas twice.
Suspension & steering
A tied-down car shows worn parts sooner. Cheapest cause checked first.
- Diagnosis is AED 99 and confirms what is actually worn before any gearbox talk
- A clutch is from AED 950 when it genuinely is the clutch, not a whole gearbox by default
- Bigger jobs are quoted after the diagnosis and only go ahead with your approval
Jumping out of third? Have the clutch confirmed before you accept a gearbox quote.

What customers say
My Mazda CX-5 had a lot of dents and scratches that needed to be fixed. MySyara absolutely nailed the job. Apart from the dent repairs, they also made sure the colour mixing to get the Mazda's unique soul red crystal was on point.
Again MySyara surprised me with their amazing services, really they are my favourite. The best all-in-one car service, whatever you need they can do it. They do it on time, perfect quality, good communication, and give you honest and good advice.

Before you accept a gearbox quote for a Mazda3 that pops out of third
If your manual Mazda3 is suddenly hard to shift, or it jumps out of third gear on the overrun, you have probably already been told one of two unhelpful things: that it is your clutch technique, or that the gearbox is on its way out and needs replacing. On this car, both are usually wrong, and the difference between them and the truth is a single AED 99 diagnosis that confirms what is actually worn before anyone quotes you for anything.
Here is the part most workshops will not tell you. Third gear jumping out of engagement on a Mazda3 is not a mystery and it is not a driving fault. It is a documented matter that Mazda itself addressed by revising the part responsible. That one fact changes the whole conversation about what your car needs and what it should cost.
What Mazda actually changed
A Mazda bulletin describes hard shifting on these gearboxes as being caused by a failure of the related clutch hub. To fix it, the bulletin states that the shape of the 3-4 and 5-6 clutch hub has been changed, and crucially that a surface treatment has now been added to the 3-4 clutch hub to prevent third gear from jumping out.
Read that again, because it is unusually clear for a manufacturer. Mazda did not issue a note telling owners to shift more gently. It changed the physical shape of a part and then added a surface treatment to that part for the specific purpose of stopping third gear popping out of engagement. When a carmaker redesigns a component and treats its surface to cure a symptom, that symptom is a known design matter with revised parts behind it, not something the driver is doing wrong.
So a Mazda3 that baulks going into gear, or that will not stay in third under load, is displaying exactly the behaviour Mazda revised the clutch hub to prevent. That is the starting point for our diagnosis, not a guess.
This is not your clutch technique
It is worth saying plainly, because owners of manual cars get blamed for everything. A stiff shift, a gear that will not go in cleanly, a third that pops back out: none of that is evidence that you are heavy-handed with the lever or slow off the clutch. The clutch hub failure Mazda describes produces these symptoms on its own, regardless of how carefully the car is driven.
That matters for your wallet as much as your pride. If a problem is blamed on technique, the implied fix is “drive differently,” which fixes nothing and leaves you paying later anyway. Naming the real cause, a clutch hub that Mazda revised, points at the right repair the first time.
We confirm what is worn before we quote
The reason this car gets over-quoted is that “hard to shift” and “jumping out of gear” sound like gearbox failure, and a gearbox is the most expensive thing under the car to name. We do not start there. The AED 99 diagnosis exists to separate a worn clutch from genuine internal wear, because they are very different bills.
Far more often than not, the answer on a Mazda3 is the clutch and the clutch hub rather than the gearbox itself, and a clutch replacement is from AED 950 when the diagnosis confirms that is what is worn. A clutch hub or internal gearbox wear is a larger, quoted job, and we only reach that conversation once the clutch has been ruled in or out, with the numbers in front of you. You are never charged a clutch price for an internal repair, or quoted a gearbox for something the clutch explains.
One further note we treat carefully: a separate owner complaint records a manual Mazda3 whose clutch suddenly burned out and could not shift while driving. That is a single owner report rather than a pattern, so we do not read it as something your car is destined for. We mention it only because it is on record, and because it is one more reason to confirm the clutch’s condition rather than assume it.
The gearbox fluid and the rest of the manual
While the car is in for a shift complaint, the gearbox fluid is worth checking, because it almost never gets changed and old fluid makes a notchy shift worse. A gearbox or ATF fluid change is AED 250, or AED 375 with a filter on the automatic. Clean fluid will not cure a failed clutch hub, but it removes one variable and sharpens up a shift that degraded partly through neglect.
If yours is all-wheel drive: the rear differential case
Most Mazda3s sold here are front-wheel drive, and for those this section does not apply. On the all-wheel-drive version, a Mazda service alert notes that the rear differential case could develop a crack in the case. We check it on an AWD car showing the signs and quote the repair after inspection. It is a factual item worth knowing, not something to lose sleep over on a front-driven car, which is most of them.
Cooling, AC and suspension, priced upfront
Away from the gearbox, a Mazda3 is a cheap and honest car to keep running. The cooling system uses plastic parts that go brittle in Gulf heat: a radiator flush and refill is AED 225, a thermostat AED 325 and a radiator AED 825, and a rising temperature gauge is worth stopping for rather than driving through. On air conditioning, cool-but-not-cold is either a slow leak or a dust-blocked condenser, and the two feel identical, so an AED 99 inspection finds the cause before an AC condenser from AED 475, a compressor from AED 750, an evaporator from AED 800 or a blower motor at AED 300 is fitted; a gas top-up is AED 150. On suspension, we check the cheapest cause first: sway bar end links at AED 175, then rear shocks from AED 450, front from AED 600 and a front lower control arm at AED 800, with a wheel alignment at AED 200.
A note on the cabin for older cars kept outdoors: Mazda has acknowledged that prolonged high heat and humidity can make the dashboard surface deteriorate into a sticky finish, and owners have also reported infotainment screen and audio faults, both worth flagging at the diagnosis even though they are cosmetic and electronic rather than mechanical.
In one line
A Mazda3 that is hard to shift or jumps out of third is showing a fault Mazda revised the clutch hub to cure, so we confirm whether it is the clutch, from AED 950, or the gearbox, before anyone quotes you for the expensive answer.
