What customers say

4.4
Across 11,600+ reviews on Google and the MySyara app

I had major service work done on my car, and everything was clearly explained and handled professionally. The team was transparent, helpful, and honest about what needed to be done and what could wait.

Had a wonderful experience. The service was smooth, professional and very efficient. A special thanks to Syed Farzan for his outstanding support, professionalism and attention to detail.

Great service done by the team here. Special shout out to Muhammad Shaheer, who gave me solid and legit advice on how to go about with my car and the parts that were to be replaced.

A minor service is AED 800 and a major service AED 1500. Those are tier-3 SUV rates and reflect what the oil volume, filters and fluids genuinely cost on this vehicle. A full fault scan across all modules is AED 99, gearbox fluid from AED 625 or AED 950 with the filter, and a transfer case oil change from AED 550. Spark plugs are AED 300.
Because on this vehicle a weak battery does not simply fail to start the car, it generates faults. The modules communicate over a network that misbehaves when voltage is marginal, so low battery health can produce warnings across systems that have nothing mechanically wrong with them. Testing battery health properly and reporting it as a number is therefore preventive maintenance for the electronics, not just a check on whether the car will start tomorrow.
Mobil fully synthetic engine oil to the correct specification, an oil filter replacement, air and cabin filter cleaning, all fluids topped up, a multi-point inspection, a scan of every module and a measured battery health result. We also check ride height and compressor behaviour on the air suspension rather than waiting for a warning. Usually back the same day with a 6 month service warranty.
Every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first, and we would use the shorter end here. This is a heavy vehicle with a large oil volume working in 45ยฐC heat, often in traffic, and the oil is doing considerably more than a published temperate-climate interval assumes.
There is no scheduled service for it, but it benefits from being watched. We check ride height at each corner and listen to the compressor working, because a compressor that is starting to struggle or a spring beginning to leak will usually show in those two observations before any warning appears on the dash. Catching that early is the difference between a planned repair and being stranded at the kerb with the vehicle sitting on its stops.
Materially, and on a tier-3 vehicle the saving in absolute terms is larger than on a mainstream car because the baseline is higher. We use Mobil fully synthetic to the correct specification, genuine or quality-equivalent parts, and provide an itemised record, which is what matters for the vehicle's history and its resale.
It is worth diagnosing rather than panicking about, and the number of messages is not a good guide to the number of faults. On this vehicle a single root cause, very often electrical supply, can light up several unrelated systems at the same time. That is covered properly on our repair page, but the short version is to have the battery and charging system checked before authorising work on any of the systems that are complaining.
Not if it is documented. A buyer wants evidence that the right oil went in at the right interval and that the electronics were looked after. You get an itemised record of every visit, including the battery health figure, which on this vehicle is a more meaningful record than it would be on most cars.

On this vehicle, the battery is a service item

Most service pages mention the battery somewhere near the end, under things we check. On a Range Rover it belongs at the top, and for a reason specific to how this vehicle is built.

A weak battery here does not simply fail to start the car. It generates faults.

This is a vehicle with a large number of electronic modules talking to each other over a network. When supply voltage goes marginal, that communication becomes unreliable, and modules begin reporting problems that are not mechanically there. The result is a dashboard lighting up with warnings across several unrelated systems while nothing is actually broken.

The air suspension is the clearest example. That system takes a feed from the alternator as one of its inputs, so an electrical supply problem can produce an air suspension warning directly, with every spring, sensor and compressor in perfect order.

So we measure battery health and report it as a number at every service, rather than ticking a box marked “battery OK”. On this vehicle that is preventive maintenance for the electronics, not merely a check on whether it will start tomorrow.

Dubai makes this worse

Heat is the primary enemy of batteries, and it shortens their life far more aggressively than age or mileage does. A battery that would give five years in a temperate climate may give two or three here.

Compounding it: this vehicle draws power even when parked, because the modules do not all go fully to sleep immediately. A Range Rover left standing for a week in a Dubai summer is a battery under real stress.

Which means a Range Rover in this city is more likely to develop marginal voltage than almost anywhere else it is sold, and more likely to produce the phantom warnings described above.

The practical consequence for an owner is simple and it saves money: when odd warnings appear, have the battery and charging system checked before authorising work on whatever system is complaining.

Air suspension: watched, not serviced

There is no scheduled service interval for the air suspension. It still benefits from being looked at, and we do two specific things at every visit.

Ride height at each corner, measured rather than eyeballed. A vehicle sitting slightly low at one corner is telling you something before any warning appears.

Compressor behaviour, listened to. A compressor that is beginning to struggle, or running longer than it should, is the earliest sign available that the system is losing its margin.

Catching either early is the difference between a planned repair and being stranded at a kerb with the vehicle sitting on its stops. The diagnostic detail and the four things that actually cause air suspension faults are on the repair page.

Tier 3, SUV rates, stated plainly

A minor service is AED 800 and a major AED 1500. Those are higher than the AED 625 and AED 1300 a tier-3 saloon costs, and considerably higher than a Japanese SUV.

That is not a surcharge for the badge. It reflects a large oil volume, more filters, more fluid, and a heavier vehicle. Quoting a lower figure and revising it on collection would waste your time and ours.

What the minor service covers: Mobil fully synthetic oil to the correct specification, a new oil filter, cleaning of the air and cabin filters, all fluids topped up, a multi-point inspection, a scan of every module and the battery health figure.

A major service replaces rather than cleans: air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs and wiper blades. AED 1500.

The scan covers every module, not just the engine

Worth being specific, because this is where a generic service falls short on this vehicle.

A basic scan tool reads the engine management system. A Range Rover has modules for the suspension, the transfer case, the climate system, the body electronics, the gateway and more, and a fault stored in any of them can produce a symptom the driver notices.

So the service includes a scan across modules at AED 99 rather than an engine-only read. On a vehicle this electronically dense, that is the single most informative part of the visit, and it is routinely how a cheap fault gets caught while it is still cheap.

The fluids most owners forget

Two items that fall off the schedule once a vehicle leaves the dealer network, both worth planning rather than reacting to.

Gearbox fluid, from AED 625 or AED 950 with the filter. Frequently described as lifetime. Worth doing anyway on a heavy vehicle with real mileage.

Transfer case oil, from AED 550. This vehicle has genuine off-road hardware, and if yours is ever used in sand, that fluid degrades with heat and load rather than with distance. It is reliably the first thing to be forgotten.

Coolant condition is checked at every visit. A heavy vehicle idling in Dubai traffic makes heat with limited airflow to shed it, and cooling systems lose margin quietly over several summers. A flush is AED 225.

Anything the inspection finds comes with a price. If it is a repair rather than maintenance, it is quoted separately and you decide.
