How it works
Serviced in three steps
Pick a slot, tell us the year and engine, and we service it where it suits you.
Book a slot
Pick a time and place on the app or the web. Tell us the year and whether yours is the diesel or the petrol, because the oil interval argument is sharpest on the diesel.
We come to you or you drop in
A minor service or oil change can be done at your home or office anywhere in Dubai, at the same fixed price as the workshop. Bigger jobs are better at Al Quoz, Umm Ramool or Wadi Al Amardi.
Serviced, scanned and inspected
Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, fluids topped up, a full fault-code scan and a multi-point inspection. Anything found is reported with a price, never just done.

Coverage
Evoque servicing across Dubai
Our mechanic comes to your home or office for the routine work, or drop the car at Al Quoz, Umm Ramool or Wadi Al Amardi for the heavier jobs.
A doorstep minor service and oil change are available across Dubai at the workshop price. Anything that involves getting inside the engine, the timing chain above all, belongs at a workshop where the car can be lifted.
What customers say
I had a really tough time looking for garages, picking up, dropping, fighting for quotations. Since I got in touch with MySyara, car servicing and repairs are just so easy. Me and my brother both service our 9 cars, which includes Mercedes, Range Rover, Ford Focus ST, Pathfinders, all from MySyara.
It is really nice and can fix your problem, specifically Land Rover.

Fixed price upfront. Anything the inspection finds is quoted, never assumed.
The oil is what protects the chain
Most Evoques we service in Dubai are the 2.0 Ingenium diesel. It is a refined, capable engine, and it has one weak point worth understanding before you think about a service: the timing chain.
That chain was marketed as a lifetime component. In practice it does not behave like one. It stretches, it wears its plastic guides, and on these engines it can give trouble well before the sort of mileage the word “lifetime” implies. That is documented behaviour on this engine family, not a rumour.
Here is the part that turns a routine service into an argument worth having. The single biggest thing protecting that chain day to day is the oil it runs in. The chain lives in oil, is lubricated by oil, and depends on clean oil at the right viscosity to stay quiet and stay within spec. Let the oil degrade and you are running a known weak point with its main defence worn down.
So on this specific engine a service is not a box to tick. It is the cheapest insurance you can buy against the most expensive repair the car has. The oil and filter cost very little. What they protect does not.
Short Dubai trips are the worst case for that oil
Everything above would be true anywhere. Dubai adds a second factor that makes it sharper here than almost anywhere else.
The Ingenium diesel is known for oil dilution, where unburnt diesel works its way past the rings and contaminates the engine oil. The conditions that cause it are short, cold journeys, exactly the ones that never let the engine get properly hot and burn that fuel back off.
Now picture how an Evoque is actually used in Dubai. The school run. The mall. Ten or fifteen minutes to the office and back. Trip after trip where the engine barely reaches full temperature before it is switched off again. That is the precise recipe for diesel building up in the oil.
Diluted oil protects less well than clean oil. It thins, it loses some of its film strength, and it is being asked to protect a chain that is already the engine’s weak point. Two known problems feeding each other. The owner who assumes low annual mileage means a relaxed service schedule has it exactly backwards.
A realistic interval for a short-trip Evoque
Owners of low-mileage cars often tell us the service is not due because the odometer has barely moved. On a short-trip diesel in this climate, that reasoning is the wrong way round.
The calendar is the more honest measure. A car doing short hops accumulates cold starts and dilution far faster per kilometre than a car covering motorway distance, and the UAE heat degrades oil faster than the temperate-climate figures the intervals were first written around. So we treat the shorter end of the interval as the default, not the exception. Service on the 6 month mark even when the kilometres say you could wait, and if yours is the diesel doing mostly short trips, that advice is firmer still.
What a minor service covers
AED 800, and the doorstep visit in Dubai costs the same as the workshop.
A minor service is Mobil fully synthetic engine oil, a new oil filter, cleaning of the air and cabin filters, all fluids topped up, a full fault-code scan and a multi-point inspection. On an Evoque that inspection specifically includes a look for the signs of oil dilution and a listen to how the engine behaves on a cold start, because those are the early tells that matter on this car.
The minor service and a standalone oil change, from AED 400, can both be done at your home or office anywhere in Dubai. The mechanic arrives in a fully equipped van carrying the correct oil, the filter and the tools, so the car never has to leave your building.
The fluids that fall off an Evoque’s schedule
A major service is AED 1500, typically every third service. It replaces rather than cleans: air filter at AED 125, cabin filter at AED 125, wiper blades, and on the petrol cars the spark plugs at AED 300.
If your Evoque has covered real distance, the major service is also the right moment to ask about the fluids that quietly disappear from the schedule once a car leaves the dealer. The gearbox or ATF fluid is AED 625, or AED 950 done with a new filter. The transfer case oil is AED 550. Both are straightforward, both are cheap relative to the car, and both are the sort of maintenance that is far less expensive to do than to skip.
Early cars deserve a closer look
If yours is a 2012 to 2014 car, it is worth knowing these are the years most commonly flagged as the troublesome ones. Alongside the chain, owners of early cars have reported timing chain tensioner failures, turbocharger defects and exhaust manifold cracking. None of that changes the service itself, but it does change how closely we look. Tell us the year when you book and we will scan and inspect with those known patterns in mind rather than treating the car as a blank sheet.
What the inspection actually looks at
The oil and filter are the routine part. On an Evoque the value is in what gets checked while the car is with us, and these are the items that matter most in this climate and this duty cycle.
Signs of oil dilution. We look at the oil condition and level rather than only draining and refilling, because on this engine the state of the old oil tells you how hard the short-trip life has been on it. If the dilution picture is worse than the mileage suggests, that is a reason to shorten your interval, and we will say so.
Cold-start behaviour. A quick listen on a cold start is part of the inspection, because the early signs on this engine announce themselves then rather than once everything is warm. It costs nothing to listen, and it is the cheapest possible early warning.
Battery. Dubai heat shortens battery life far more than age does, and short trips never fully replace what starting the car consumed. An Evoque living on short runs sits closer to the edge than its owner realises, so we test rather than guess.
Coolant and tyres. Coolant condition matters because these engines make heat in traffic without much airflow to shed it, and on a low-mileage car tyres frequently time out before they wear out. Heat-degraded rubber with plenty of tread left is still past its usable life, so we report the date code, not only the depth.
Anything flagged comes with a price. If it is a repair rather than maintenance, it is quoted separately and you decide.
One honest word on the screen
Not everything on an Evoque is drivetrain. One of the most commonly reported complaints is the infotainment, specifically the screen freezing and connectivity dropping out. It is an irritation rather than a reliability worry, and it is not a service item, but we mention it so you are not surprised to hear it is common rather than unique to your car. If it is bothering you, raise it at the service and we will note what it is doing.
Tier 3, and the maths of not waiting
The Evoque sits at our tier-3 SUV rate. A minor service at AED 800 and a major at AED 1500 are modest figures set against what the engine can cost if the chain is neglected.
That is the real case for servicing this car properly. Timing chain work on the Ingenium is quoted after inspection rather than listed, because the cost is dominated by getting to the chain, which sits at the gearbox end of the engine. When the bill for the repair is that heavily weighted toward access, the oil change that keeps you away from it is the best value maintenance on the car. The full version of why the access is so punishing is on the Evoque repair page.
Anything the inspection or the scan turns up is quoted for your approval. If it is a repair rather than maintenance, it is priced separately and you decide.
