How it works

Serviced and back, same day

Book a slot, drop the car at an Abu Dhabi workshop, collect it the same day in most cases.

01

Pick minor or major

A minor service suits most cars every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months. A major service is due roughly every 30,000 to 40,000 km and adds filters, spark plugs and wipers. Tell us the model and mileage and we will confirm.

02

Drop the car in

Pick a workshop reachable from your area, whether that is Khalifa City, Mussafah, MBZ or the island. The service is fixed-price, so the figure does not move unless the inspection finds something and you approve it.

Fixed price
03

Inspected, serviced, returned

Oil and filter done, fluids topped up, and a multi-point inspection covering brakes, suspension, battery, belts and tyres. On a car covering Abu Dhabi distances the tyres and brakes get particular attention.

Doorstep visits are Dubai-only for now, so in Abu Dhabi the car comes to a workshop. For a full service that is the right place anyway, since the car needs lifting to do the job properly.

Found this workshop randomly. Had my oil change done on my Kia. The staff were knowledgeable and explained everything about the oil, the brand and all the items included in the service. The reports were world class, all within one and a half hours and great prices.

I had major service work done on my car, and everything was clearly explained and handled professionally. The team was transparent, helpful, and honest about what needed to be done and what could wait.

They are very professional, took my car and returned it back on time, they checked all the mechanical aspects of the car and advised on some replacements. Mr. Mohammad Saheer was the adviser, he was so helpful.

The same as our Dubai workshops, with no Abu Dhabi premium. A minor service is AED 350 for a sedan or compact such as a Cerato, Optima or Rio, and AED 425 for an SUV such as a Sportage, Sorento or Telluride. A major service is AED 775 and AED 900 respectively. Kia sits in tier 1, our lowest pricing band.
Mobil fully synthetic engine oil, an oil filter replacement, air and cabin filter cleaning (cleaning rather than replacement at this level), all fluids topped up and a multi-point inspection covering brakes, suspension, battery, belts and tyres. The car is usually back the same day and the work carries a 6 month service warranty.
A major service includes everything in the minor, then replaces rather than cleans: a new air filter, a new cabin filter, new spark plugs and new wiper blades, alongside the Mobil fully synthetic oil, oil filter, fluids top-up and inspection. It is typically due every third service.
A minor service every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first. In Abu Dhabi the kilometres almost always arrive first: long motorway runs, trips out to Al Ain and inter-emirate commuting accumulate distance quickly, so plenty of cars here pass 10,000 km well inside six months. Service on the odometer rather than the calendar.
It is among the cheapest. Kia sits in tier 1, our lowest band, so both servicing and repairs are inexpensive: an AC compressor is AED 750 where a German premium brand is AED 1650, a radiator is AED 825 against AED 1850, and front shock absorbers are AED 600 against AED 1450. Low running costs are a genuine part of the ownership case.
Yes, provided the oil meets the right specification, the parts are genuine or quality-equivalent, the schedule is kept and the work is recorded. We use Mobil fully synthetic oil and give you an itemised record of what was done. Most of our Kia customers move across once the car is outside its dealer warranty period.
Not yet. Doorstep visits currently run in Dubai only, so in Abu Dhabi the car comes to a workshop. For a full service that is the correct place regardless, since the car needs lifting to drain the oil, change the filter and inspect the underbody, brakes and suspension properly.

Service a Kia on the odometer, not the calendar

The Kias we see in Abu Dhabi are mostly Sportages, Optimas, Ceratos and Sorentos, and they share a usage pattern that sets the emirate apart: distance. The E11, the E10, the Al Ain road, daily commuting between the island and Mussafah or MBZ.

That matters for the service interval. The guidance is every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first, and in Abu Dhabi the kilometres almost always come first. A car doing 1,500 km a month passes 10,000 km in seven months; plenty here do considerably more than that.

So the practical advice is to watch the odometer rather than the calendar. A minor service is AED 350, which makes doing it on time an easy decision.

Tier 1 is the point

Kia sits in tier 1 of our pricing, the lowest band, alongside Toyota, Nissan and Hyundai. The effect shows up most clearly when something actually goes wrong rather than at service time:

An AC compressor is AED 750 on a Kia where a German premium brand is AED 1650. A radiator is AED 825 against AED 1850. Front shock absorbers are AED 600 against AED 1450. A full clutch replacement is AED 950 against figures more than twice that.

Low running costs are a real part of why these cars sell here, and they hold up once the dealer warranty has expired, provided the maintenance is kept honest.

Minor or major: which one is due

A minor service covers Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, cleaning of the air and cabin filters, all fluids topped up and a multi-point inspection.

A major service is typically every third service, around 30,000 to 40,000 km or every two years, replacing rather than cleaning: air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs and wiper blades. Given Abu Dhabi mileage, the major tends to arrive on kilometres well before it arrives on years.

What the distance actually wears out

On a high-mileage Abu Dhabi Kia the inspection matters more than on a low-mileage city car, and the items that come up are specific.

Tyres, because sustained motorway speed on hot asphalt is the hardest life a tyre has, and because a worn or under-inflated tyre at 120 km/h in July is the single most dangerous thing on the car. Brakes, which we measure rather than estimate. Coolant condition, since long runs in summer are when a marginal cooling system gives up, usually a long way from anywhere. And the battery, which heat kills faster than age does.

The air filter is not a formality here

Worth separating out, because it is genuinely different in this region. An air filter in a temperate climate is a 20,000 km item. In the Gulf, with fine airborne dust year-round and the occasional shamal, it loads up far sooner.

A clogged filter costs you fuel and makes the engine work harder for no reason. It is cleaned at every minor service and replaced at every major, and at AED 100 it is not an item worth economising on.

Anything the inspection flags is reported with a price, and if it is a repair rather than maintenance it is quoted separately for you to decide on.
