How it works
Book it, get the inspection done, read the report. You decide whether to buy.
Open the MySyara app or book on the website. Tell us the car you're considering (make, model, year) and pick a time. Drive the car in to a MySyara garage, or arrange our pickup and drop so you don't have to.
At a MySyara garage the car goes on a lift, and a technician works through the checklist: mechanical, electrical, body, tyres and fluids for the Basic; all of that plus an OBD scan, paint-thickness gauge and road test for the Full. Nothing about the car is taken on face value.
The findings go into a digital inspection report that is yours to keep. It covers what was checked, what passed, and anything that needs attention, so you go into the negotiation or the purchase with your eyes open.
Pricing
The price is the same regardless of the car's make, model or class. No surcharge for SUVs, no extra for German or Japanese brands. Pick the depth of check you need.
50-point check across the key areas
Everything in Basic, plus deeper diagnostic tools
Not sure which tier to pick? The Full inspection is worth it for cars above AED 40,000 or anything over 80,000 km. The OBD scan and paint-thickness gauge are what catch the costly surprises.
Coverage
Pre-purchase inspections run in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman at the same flat price.
The same AED 299 / AED 499 pricing applies in all four emirates. Book through the app or website, then drive the car in to a MySyara garage or arrange pickup and drop.

I booked a car inspection and within a couple of hours, my car was picked up from my office. Hadi coordinated everything from car pickup to the detailed inspection report. I was shared a detailed inspection report with pictures. After delivering the car, Hadi followed up in a week's time to check if everything was fine. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

A pre-purchase inspection gives you a digital record, not a verbal opinion. The Basic tier’s 50-point check works through the mechanical systems (engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes), the electrical systems, the body for rust, panel misalignment or signs of previous repair, the tyres for wear and condition, and all fluid levels. Every point is checked and recorded.
The Full tier runs to 100 points and adds three tools that catch what a visual inspection cannot. An OBD diagnostic scan reads the fault codes stored across every module in the car, including codes the seller may have cleared before showing you the car but that return after a few cold starts. A paint-thickness gauge measures the depth of the paint at every panel, which shows up respray patches and filler that look identical to the original paint to the naked eye. A road test puts the car under load, which is when transmission hesitation, brake fade, steering pull and suspension noise tend to show themselves.
The Basic is the right choice for a low-mileage car with a clean history, a newer model under warranty, or a budget buy where the numbers are already tight. If the car has covered significant mileage, is above AED 40,000, or the seller’s answers about its history feel vague, the Full inspection earns its extra cost quickly. A single fault code pointing to a failing sensor or gearbox issue that the OBD scan catches can be worth far more than the AED 200 difference between the two tiers.
Either way, the report is yours. Book an inspection before you commit.
