Dodge Repair & Service ยท Dubai

Dodge repair in Dubai, diagnosed for AED 99.

On servicing, a Charger costs AED 100 more than a Neon. On an AC compressor it is AED 625 more. The gap between Dodge price bands widens sharply on repairs, so we publish both rather than one average. Diagnosis AED 99.

How it works

From symptom to fix in three steps

Tell us what it is doing, we find out why, you approve the quote before work starts.

01

Book a diagnostic

Book on the app or the website. Give us the exact model, because on a Dodge that determines the price band, and tell us what you have noticed, whether that is a rising gauge, weak AC or a noise from the brakes.

We scan and quote

A technician reads the stored fault codes and inspects the relevant systems, then sends a quote for your specific Dodge in its correct band. The figure is for your car, not a range average.

Pricing

Dodge repair jobs, priced by band

The Charger and Challenger price a tier above the rest of the range, and on repairs that gap is considerably wider than it is on servicing. Both bands are published below. The Viper is quoted individually.

Durango, Ram, Neon

The standard band. Materially cheaper on the same jobs.

AC compressor replacement From AED 1025
AC condenser replacement From AED 650
Front shock absorbers From AED 800
Rear shock absorbers From AED 625
Thermostat replacement AED 450

Same either way

Jobs priced identically across the range.

Car diagnosis (full fault scan) AED 99
AC inspection AED 99
Radiator flush & refill AED 225
  • Diagnosis is AED 99 in Dubai, so you are not paying to replace parts that were never the cause
  • Two bands published, because a Charger AC compressor is AED 625 more than a Durango’s
  • Anything bigger is quoted after the diagnosis and only goes ahead with your approval

It depends which band your model sits in, and on repairs the difference is substantial. On a Charger or Challenger an AC compressor starts at AED 1650, a condenser at AED 1075, front shock absorbers at AED 1450 and rear at AED 1150. On a Durango, Ram or Neon the same jobs are AED 1025, AED 650, AED 800 and AED 625. A diagnosis is AED 99, an AC inspection AED 99 and a radiator flush AED 225 regardless of model.
Because the Charger and Challenger sit in a higher price band in our catalogue, driven by what their parts cost rather than their size. It is worth knowing that the gap is much wider on repairs than on servicing: a minor service differs by AED 100 between the bands, but an AC compressor differs by AED 625. If you are choosing between models, that is the figure to pay attention to rather than the service price.
Treat it as urgent and stop driving. A large-capacity engine generates a great deal of heat, and Dubai traffic is the least helpful environment for one: low speed, minimal airflow, 45ยฐC ambient air and the air conditioning working flat out at the same time. A radiator flush is AED 225 and a thermostat AED 325 on a Charger or AED 450 on a Durango. An engine run hot repeatedly costs many times any of those.
Because the two bands are not a simple ladder where everything is dearer in the higher one. Most parts cost more on the Charger, but a few individual items, the thermostat among them, are priced higher in the standard band. We publish both figures rather than assuming the pattern holds, which is the only way to avoid quoting you the wrong one.
Usually a condenser clogged with fine dust so the system cannot shed heat, a refrigerant leak, or a compressor worn from working against high pressure. These present almost identically, so we check pressures and find the leak before refilling. On a Charger a condenser is from AED 1075 and a compressor from AED 1650, against AED 150 for a top-up if the system is simply low, so establishing which you need genuinely matters here.
They do, and for a simple reason: both are heavy and quick, and Dubai driving involves a lot of accelerating into a gap and stopping again. We measure pad thickness rather than estimating it and give you the measurement, not just a verdict. On a car like this that cuts both ways, because sometimes the honest answer is that you have a few thousand kilometres left.
MySyara repairs Dodge at workshops across Dubai, with Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman also covered. Book a diagnostic, we scan the car and quote for the fault in your model's band, then carry out the repair with your approval. In Dubai, minor jobs can also be done at your home or office.

The band gap widens on repairs, and that is the thing to know

On our service pages we publish three Dodge price bands, because the Charger and Challenger sit a tier above the Durango, Ram and Neon. On servicing that difference is modest: AED 625 against AED 525, a hundred dirhams.

On repairs it is a different matter entirely, and this is the single most useful thing on this page.

An AC compressor is from AED 1650 on a Charger and from AED 1025 on a Durango or Neon. That is a AED 625 gap on one job. An AC condenser is from AED 1075 against AED 650. Front shock absorbers are from AED 1450 against AED 800.

So if you are weighing up which Dodge to own, the service price tells you very little. The repair prices tell you almost everything. A Charger is a wonderful car and it is materially more expensive to put right when something goes wrong, and you should know that before rather than after.

One warning about assuming the pattern

Worth flagging because it would be easy to get wrong, including for us.

The two bands are not a simple ladder where every single item is dearer in the higher one. Most parts are, but a few are not. A thermostat is AED 325 on a Charger and AED 450 on a Durango, which is the reverse of what the overall pattern would suggest.

We publish both figures from the catalogue rather than deriving one from the other, because assuming the ladder holds is exactly how a workshop ends up quoting you a number it then has to revise.

Cooling is what a V8 asks for most

The Charger, Challenger and V8 Durango share a demand that smaller-engined cars do not place on us nearly as often: cooling.

A large-capacity engine produces a great deal of heat. Dubai traffic is close to the worst place to ask it to shed that heat, because you have low road speed, very little airflow through the radiator, 45ยฐC ambient air and the air conditioning condenser working flat out in front of the same radiator core.

None of that is a fault. It is physics, and it means coolant condition on these cars deserves attention at every service rather than every third. A radiator flush is AED 225 regardless of model, which makes it among the cheapest sensible things you can do before summer.

If the gauge begins climbing in traffic, that is worth stopping for. These engines do not forgive being run hot, and the cheap outcomes here are a flush or a thermostat while the expensive one is the engine itself.

Brakes: heavy, quick, and Dubai traffic

The second thing these cars consume is brakes, and the reason is straightforward. A Charger is both heavy and fast, and Dubai driving involves repeatedly accelerating into a gap and then stopping again. That is more energy to dissipate, more often, than a compact saloon ever deals with.

We measure pad thickness rather than guessing and we tell you the number rather than just the conclusion. That honesty runs both ways: sometimes the answer is that there are a few thousand kilometres left in them, and sometimes it is that you should not put it off.

Air conditioning, where the band gap bites hardest

Weak AC comes from one of three things, and they present almost identically: a condenser clogged with fine dust, a refrigerant leak, or a compressor worn from working against high pressure.

On a Durango or Neon the stakes are moderate, with a condenser from AED 650 and a compressor from AED 1025. On a Charger they are considerably higher, at AED 1075 and AED 1650.

Which is precisely why we check pressures and look for the leak before refilling anything. A AED 150 gas top-up into a leaking system is money spent twice, and on a Charger the correct diagnosis is worth several hundred dirhams on its own.

Suspension and the quieter items

Front shock absorbers are from AED 1450 on a Charger and AED 800 on a Durango or Neon. A floaty ride, a knock over speed bumps or uneven tyre wear are the usual signs, and we check the cheaper causes before quoting the dearer ones.

If your Durango or Ram is four-wheel drive there is also a transfer case with its own oil, from AED 375, which is reliably the first item to drop off a maintenance schedule once a vehicle leaves the dealer network.

If what you need turns out to be routine servicing rather than a repair, that is fixed-price in your model’s band and agreed before you book.
