A Mercedes is built to a different specification than the Japanese and Korean cars that make up most of the UAE fleet. The engines, gearboxes, suspension and electrical systems are more sophisticated, and when something goes wrong, a guess is more expensive than a diagnosis. A fault code scan on a modern Mercedes reads the exact system that flagged, which saves you from replacing parts that weren’t the cause.
The UAE climate adds its own layer.
