I had major service work done on my car, and everything was clearly explained and handled professionally. The team was transparent, helpful, and honest about what needed to be done and what could wait.

How it works
Serviced and back, same day
Book a slot, tell us the year and engine, and collect it the same day in most cases.
Tell us year and engine
C200, C250, C300, C350 or a diesel, and roughly which generation. It changes the oil specification, the plugs, and what we look at first on the gearbox.
We collect or you drop in
Drop it at Al Quoz, Umm Ramool or Wadi Al Amardi, or ask for collection from most of Dubai. The service is fixed-price, so the figure does not move unless the inspection finds something and you approve it.
Inspected, serviced, returned
Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, fluids topped up, a full fault-code scan, and an honest read on the gearbox fluid rather than a default recommendation.
Pricing
C-Class service prices in Dubai
The C-Class prices in tier 3 alongside BMW and Audi, which reflects what the parts actually cost. The gearbox fluid service is listed separately because on this car it is the item worth planning for.
Minor service
Every 5,000 to 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first
Major service
Every 30,000 to 40,000 km or 2 years. Adds filters, plugs and wipers
The gearbox and the rest
The 7G-Tronic is the item that decides how this car ages
- Mobil fully synthetic oil and a new oil filter on every service, minor or major
- Gearbox fluid condition reported, with a service from AED 825 including the filter
- 6 month service warranty on the work, as standard
Gearbox fluid with filter is AED 825. On a 7G-Tronic that is the cheapest insurance available.

Coverage
C-Class servicing across Dubai
Workshops in Al Quoz, Umm Ramool and Wadi Al Amardi, with collection from most of Dubai if you would rather not drive in.
Tell us the year and engine when you book. A C200 and a C350 share a badge and a gearbox but not much else, and the gearbox is what we most want to know about.

Minor AED 625, major AED 1300, fixed before you book. Mobil synthetic oil, full fault scan and a gearbox fluid report.
Fixed price upfront. Anything the inspection finds is quoted, never assumed.
On a C-Class, the gearbox is the story
The C-Class is comfortably the most serviced Mercedes in our Dubai workshops, and the pattern across those cars is consistent. The engines are generally fine. The electronics are generally fine. What decides whether a C-Class ages well or expensively is the 7G-Tronic gearbox.
The 722.9 seven-speed automatic is a sophisticated unit, and it depends on fluid condition for two jobs at once: lubricating the mechanical parts, and acting as the hydraulic medium that actually operates the shifts. Degraded fluid compromises both.
Dubai is a hard place for it. Constant low-speed shifting in traffic, 45ยฐC ambient temperature, and limited airflow at crawling speed. The gearbox works hardest exactly when it has least help cooling itself.
A fluid change is from AED 550, or AED 825 including the filter. On anything with real mileage the filter version is the one worth having, because a filter full of the debris that fluid has been carrying is not improved by fresh fluid around it.
The thing most C-Class owners are never told
Rough or jerky shifting on a 722.9 is very often electronic rather than mechanical.
The gearbox contains a conductor plate that carries the transmission control electronics and the connections to the shift solenoids. It is a documented weak point across Mercedes models using this transmission, and when it fails the symptoms look exactly like a worn gearbox: holding too long in a gear then shifting harshly, flaring between ratios, sometimes dropping into limp mode.
Which means owners get quoted for a transmission when the fault is a plate. The difference in cost is not small.
Diagnosing it properly needs a scan that reads the transmission control module rather than a generic code reader. We cover that on the C-Class repair page, but the short version belongs here too: do not accept a gearbox rebuild quote on a C-Class without a proper transmission scan first.
Fluid service is still worth doing. It protects the mechanical half of the gearbox, which is the half you cannot replace cheaply.
Tier 3, and why that is honest rather than apologetic
The C-Class prices in tier 3 in our catalogue, alongside BMW and Audi. A minor service is AED 625 and a major AED 1300, against AED 350 and AED 775 for a tier-1 Japanese saloon.
That gap is not a badge surcharge. It reflects what the parts, the fluids and the labour genuinely cost on this car. Saying otherwise and revising the figure at collection would waste everyone’s time.
What is also true: the saving against a franchised dealer is larger in absolute terms on a tier-3 car than on a tier-1 one, precisely because the baseline is higher. That is the practical case for servicing a C-Class here rather than at the dealer once the warranty has run out.
Oil specification is not a detail on this car
Worth being direct about. On a mainstream saloon, oil that is approximately right is usually fine. On a modern Mercedes the specification is tighter, and the engine is designed around a particular grade and additive package.
We use Mobil fully synthetic to the correct specification on every service, minor or major. That is not a premium upsell, it is the baseline โ and it is one of the few places where economising genuinely costs you later.
The fault scan earns its place
A C-Class logs a great deal and logs it early. The car will frequently have recorded a developing fault well before a driver notices anything, particularly in the transmission, the cooling system and the electronics.
So a full fault-code read is part of every service rather than an extra. On a car with this much electronic supervision it is the most informative five minutes of the visit, and it is also what separates a conductor plate from a worn gearbox before anyone spends money.
Minor or major: which one is due
A minor service covers Mobil fully synthetic oil, a new oil filter, cleaning of the air and cabin filters, all fluids topped up, the fault scan and a multi-point inspection. AED 625.
A major service is typically every third, around 30,000 to 40,000 km or every two years, and replaces rather than cleans: air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs and wiper blades. AED 1300.
In Dubai the shorter end of the interval is generally right, and a low-mileage car is not automatically a lightly used one โ short trips in traffic put more hours of hot running on the oil than the odometer implies.
Anything the inspection flags is reported with a price, and if it is a repair rather than maintenance it is quoted separately.
