I gave my BMW X6 for regular service and for an SOS error. Everything performed well as expected. When the error came back, the MySyara team took the car for re-inspection, realised it needed BMW's own software activation, and because they had already charged me for the rectification they took my car to BMW and sorted everything themselves, then delivered it to my doorstep without charging any extra. Best customer service I have had in my last 8 years in Dubai.

Tell us the variant and mileage
Which 7 Series it is, the mileage, and whether anything has been deferred. The service price is the same across the saloons, so this is about telling us which systems are due a look, not about moving the figure.

Drop in at Al Quoz, Umm Ramool or Wadi Al Amardi, or book a doorstep minor service anywhere in Dubai at the same price. The service price is fixed before we start.

Book a 7 Series service in Dubai
Minor AED 625, major AED 1300, the same as a 3 Series, fixed before you book. Mobil synthetic oil, a new filter, a full fault scan and an inspection built for a big saloon in Gulf heat. Doorstep minor service available across Dubai.
Fixed price upfront. Anything the inspection finds is quoted, never assumed.
A 7 Series costs the same to service here as a 3 Series
Most people expect the servicing bill to track the price of the car. A big luxury saloon is dearer to buy, dearer to insure and dearer at the dealer, so the assumption is that it must be dearer to service too. With us it is not, and that is the most useful thing to know before you book.
Our service pricing follows our own tier bands, not the showroom price of the car. Every BMW saloon sits in the same band, our tier-3 sedan rate, so a 7 Series minor service is AED 625 and a major is AED 1300, which are the identical figures to a 3 Series or a 5 Series. Not close to them. The same. The three-litre oil fill, the filter and the labour to do a routine service do not get more expensive because the car around them is longer and better trimmed.
This is not a discount and it is not a promotion. It is simply what the band is, and it stays the same next year and the year after. The flagship of the range is serviced at the rate of the smallest saloon in the range, and the only thing the size of the car changes is how much there is to look over while it is in.
What the badge changes, and what it does not
Here is the honest version of the difference. The badge does not change the price of a service. What it changes is the number of systems a thorough inspection has to work through.
A 7 Series carries more of almost everything than a 3 Series: more electronics, more comfort systems, air springs on the rear axle, a bigger cooling load, a heavier car asking more of its brakes and its gearbox. None of that moves the price of the oil and filter. All of it means the inspection that comes attached to the service is doing more, and finding more, than it would on a smaller car. So the value is not in paying a flagship price, because you do not. It is in a routine-priced service catching the things a flagship quietly develops before they become the expensive part of owning one.
That reframes what the AED 625 is really buying. The oil change is the cheap, honest half of the visit. The inspection is the half that earns its keep on a big saloon, and it costs you nothing extra because it rides along with a service priced like a 3 Series.
What a big saloon actually needs checked in Gulf heat
The expensive part of running a 7 Series is almost never the service. It is a neglected system that was quietly going wrong between services and was never looked at. So the inspection on this car is built around the systems that a heavy saloon ages fastest in this climate, and it is worth knowing what they are.
Cooling comes first, because a big engine moving a heavy car in 45ยฐC traffic puts the cooling system under sustained load, and coolant does more than carry heat away. It carries corrosion protection, and that protection wears out while the coolant still looks perfectly healthy. A radiator flush and refill is AED 225, one of the cheapest sensible things to do before a summer, and the inspection also looks for weeping hoses, a seeping fitting or a level that has quietly dropped. On a big saloon anything that lets running temperatures climb is the last thing you want to discover on Sheikh Zayed Road in July.
Brake fluid is the one most owners forget entirely. It absorbs moisture over time, and moisture lowers its boiling point, which matters more on a heavy car that asks a lot of its brakes in stop-start traffic. We check its condition at the service and tell you honestly whether it is due, rather than selling a flush on a schedule.
Gearbox fluid is the next, and it is the one almost nobody books. More on that below, because it deserves its own paragraph.
The gearbox fluid at AED 550 that nobody books
A 7 Series is automatic, and the automatic gearbox fluid degrades with heat and load. A heavy saloon crawling in Dubai traffic supplies both in quantity, and old fluid is exactly what turns a smooth, imperceptible shift into a jolt you can feel.
A gearbox or ATF fluid change is AED 550, or AED 825 with a new filter, and it runs on its own clock rather than being bundled into the service to inflate the figure. The reason to mention it so plainly is that it is the classic deferred job on a big automatic: nothing reminds you it exists, the car feels fine for a long time, and then it does not, by which point the conversation is no longer about fresh fluid. If your car has covered real distance and the gearbox fluid has never been touched, tell us the mileage when you book and we will tell you honestly whether it is due. Caught at the fluid stage it is a few hundred dirhams. Ignored until the gearbox is complaining, it is a different order of money entirely, and that gap is the whole point of this page.
The rear air springs, checked rather than sold
A 7 Series rides on air springs at the rear for self-levelling, which is part of why it rides the way it does. At a service we look at them, and looking is all a service does with them.
That means checking underneath for a car sitting low, for a visible leak, and for a stored ride height fault in the scan. If everything is sound we tell you so and move on. If something is there, we tell you and quote it separately, because air suspension is repair work, not service work, and it gets tested properly as a circuit rather than fixed on a hunch. What we do not do is use a quick glance at the back of the car to sell you an air suspension compressor. If the rear is already sitting low or has thrown a fault, that is a repair job with its own careful sequence, and it starts with a diagnosis, not a parts order.
The battery, and why it fails in the heat
A battery is cheap next to everything else on this car, and in this climate it is also one of the most predictable failures. Heat, not cold, is what kills batteries here. A battery that still starts the car cleanly in April can be on its last few weeks by July, and on a 7 Series a weak battery does more than slow the starter. The car runs a lot of electronics, and marginal power can make perfectly healthy systems behave strangely.
So we test the battery at the service rather than waiting for it to strand you, and a quick test in the workshop is worth far more than a no-start in a car park in the heat. On a modern BMW a new battery is registered to the car so the charging system treats it correctly, which is not a step to skip.
Older cars: a lot of electronics, ageing in the heat
A 7 Series has always carried the most technology in the range, and on the older generations that is worth bearing in mind honestly. On the earlier E65 cars especially, the sheer quantity of electronics means that as the car ages you should expect electronic faults as well as mechanical ones, simply because there is so much more of it to age. That is not a flaw so much as the nature of a two-decade-old flagship, and it is a reason the fault-code scan is part of every service rather than an extra.
On the F01 generation, the thing owners most often report is ordinary suspension wear making itself known as excessive noise, uneven tyre wear and a decline in ride quality. None of that is dramatic, and none of it is unique to the badge. It is the predictable wear of a heavy car over Dubai’s speed bumps and expansion joints, and it is exactly what the inspection is for: a knock over bumps, a tyre scrubbing unevenly on one edge, a ride that has gone slightly loose. Caught at a service these are small jobs. Left to run, they become the reason the car feels tired.
The real cost of a 7 Series is neglect, not the service
Put the pieces together and the shape of the page is clear. The service itself is inexpensive and fixed, the same AED 625 minor and AED 1300 major as the smallest saloon in the range, because our price follows our bands and not the price of the car. The expense in owning one of these does not come from servicing it. It comes from a cooling system that lost its corrosion protection unnoticed, a gearbox run for years on cooked fluid, a battery left until it took other systems down with it, or suspension wear that turned into tyres and worse because nobody looked underneath.
Every one of those is cheap to catch and dear to ignore, and catching them is what the inspection attached to an AED 625 service is for. That is the deal on this car: a flagship looked after at the price of a 3 Series, where the money you save is kept by not letting the big systems go quietly wrong. If what you need turns out to be a repair rather than maintenance, that starts with an AED 99 diagnosis and is quoted separately.
