Had a good experience with MySyara and their staff overall. Really impressed with Yadhu's attention to detail. They arranged multiple pick and drop at no cost, which was a big relief and convenient.
GMC repair in Dubai, diagnosed for AED 99.
On a vehicle this heavy, suspension components and brakes are consumables rather than failures. They wear because they are carrying something, which is useful to know because it makes the wear predictable. Diagnosis AED 99.

How it works
From symptom to fix in three steps
Tell us what it is doing, we find out why, you approve the quote before work starts.
Book a diagnostic
Book on the app or the website. Tell us the model and what you have noticed, and whether you tow or usually run with a full load. On these vehicles that changes which components we suspect first.
We scan and quote
A technician reads the stored fault codes and inspects the relevant systems, with the suspension and brakes checked under load rather than by eye. Then we quote for the actual fault.
We repair it, you approve
Suspension, brakes, cooling, AC, drivetrain: whatever the diagnosis points to is done only with your say-so. Nothing safety-related is touched without your approval.
Pricing
GMC repair jobs, priced upfront
One rate across the range, because every GMC is an SUV or a pickup. GMC sits in tier 2, which puts these materially below the German premium brands on the same jobs.
Suspension
What carrying weight actually consumes. Cheapest causes checked first.
Cooling system
A loaded vehicle in 45ยฐC asks a lot of a radiator.
AC & drivetrain
Keeping a large cabin cold, and the fluid that does the work.
- Diagnosis is AED 99 in Dubai, so you are not paying to replace parts that were never the cause
- One rate across the range, because every GMC is a large vehicle
- Anything bigger is quoted after the diagnosis and only goes ahead with your approval
End links are AED 250. A control arm is AED 1075. Worth knowing which one is actually worn.

Coverage
GMC workshops across four emirates
Repair for any GMC at workshops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman. In Dubai, smaller jobs can come to you instead.
Doorstep visits (battery, diagnostics, minor jobs) are Dubai-only. Suspension, brakes, cooling and drivetrain work belongs at a workshop where the vehicle can be lifted properly.

On a heavy vehicle, suspension is a consumable
The most common reason a GMC comes to us for repair rather than servicing is a noise from the suspension: a clunk over a speed bump, a knock turning into a car park, a ride that has gone vague.
Worth reframing how you think about that. On a compact saloon a worn suspension component is a fault. On a loaded three-row SUV or a laden pickup it is closer to a consumable, because those bushes, joints, links and dampers are carrying real weight continuously, and Dubai applies that weight repeatedly through one of the densest networks of speed bumps anywhere.
That is not a design flaw and it is not an argument for carrying less. It is the cost of the vehicle doing the job it was bought for. The useful part is that it makes the wear predictable rather than mysterious, and the cheap causes are much more common than the expensive ones.
The same symptom, four prices
A clunk over bumps has a price range wide enough to matter, which is why we check rather than guess:
Sway bar end links at AED 250. By far the most common answer, and one of the cheapest repairs in our catalogue. Rear shock absorbers from AED 725, front from AED 925, where the giveaway is a floaty ride or uneven tyre wear alongside the noise. A front lower control arm at AED 1075, the dearest outcome.
Starting at the cheapest part and working upwards by replacement is how owners end up paying for all four. A diagnosis is AED 99 and we check the front end under load rather than by eye, because play that is invisible with the weight on the wheels shows up clearly once the joint is worked.
Brakes get measured, not estimated
A loaded Yukon or Acadia stopping from 100 km/h dissipates considerably more energy than an empty saloon doing the same thing, and Dubai driving involves a lot of stopping.
So we measure pad thickness rather than estimating it, and we give you the measurement rather than just a verdict. On a school-run Terrain the honest answer is often that there is plenty left. On a Sierra that tows regularly it is more often that you should not wait. You see the number either way.
Cooling: load plus traffic is the worst case
A heavy vehicle generates real heat under load, and Dubai traffic is close to the least helpful environment for shedding it. Low road speed, very little airflow through the radiator, 45ยฐC ambient air, and the air conditioning condenser working flat out directly in front of the same core.
A radiator flush is AED 225, a thermostat AED 450, a radiator AED 1125. An engine run hot repeatedly costs many times any of those, so a gauge climbing in traffic is worth stopping for rather than nursing home.
Air conditioning in a large cabin
Cooling a Yukon or an Acadia means cooling a great deal more air than a saloon, in the same heat.
The three usual causes present almost identically: a condenser clogged with fine dust so the system cannot shed heat, a refrigerant leak, or a compressor worn from working against high pressure. A condenser is from AED 750 and a compressor from AED 1150, against AED 150 for a top-up, so we check pressures and find the leak before refilling anything.
A blower motor at AED 450 is also worth knowing about, because weak airflow is a different fault from weak cooling and the two get conflated.
The tier-2 advantage on a big SUV
Worth stating, because it is the practical case for these vehicles. GMC sits in tier 2 while Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Land Rover sit in tier 3, and on the jobs a large SUV actually needs the gap is substantial:
An AC compressor is AED 1150 against AED 1875. A radiator is AED 1125 against AED 1850. Front shock absorbers are AED 925 against AED 1675.
Parts are also shared with the wider General Motors range, one of the better supported in this market, so sourcing is usually quick as well as sensibly priced.
Drivetrain: the fluid that does the work
A gearbox fluid change is from AED 400, or AED 600 with a filter. On a heavy vehicle, and especially one that tows, fluid condition degrades with heat and load rather than with age, so usage matters more than the service book implies.
Four-wheel-drive models also carry a transfer case with its own oil, from AED 375, reliably the first item to drop off a maintenance schedule once a vehicle leaves the dealer network.
If what you need turns out to be routine servicing rather than a repair, that is fixed at AED 650 minor and AED 1250 major.
