How it works

From symptom to fix in three steps

Tell us what it is doing, we find out why, you approve the quote before work starts.

01

Book a diagnostic

Book on the app or the website and pick an Abu Dhabi workshop and a time. Tell us the model and what you have noticed, whether that is a temperature warning, a coolant or oil smell, a gearbox jolt or a warning light.

02

We scan and quote

A technician reads the car's stored fault codes and inspects the relevant systems, then sends a quote for your specific BMW. The figure is for your car and your fault, not a generic labour rate.

Cooling, oil leaks, gearbox, suspension, electrical: whatever the diagnosis points to is done only with your say-so. Nothing safety-related is touched without your approval.

ATF fluid change (AT/CVT) From AED 550
ATF change with filter From AED 825
Transfer case oil change (xDrive) From AED 475
Driveshaft / CV axle replacement From AED 850

AC & suspension

What customers say

4.4
Across 11,600+ reviews on Google and the MySyara app

Had a great experience with MySyara for my BMW. Special thanks to Mr. Shaheer for his excellent customer service, communication and support throughout the repair. There are many garages, but proper diagnosis and deep knowledge of European cars are not easy to find. MySyara handled the repairs professionally and efficiently, and my car was delivered running perfectly with no fault codes or errors.

I had my BMW E60 523i serviced at this workshop. They completely stripped the engine, rebuilt it, cleaned it and replaced many parts. They did a great job and the engine has been given a new lease of life. They do not charge exorbitant prices and they do excellent work.

Super service, professional mechanics, great work fixed my BMW. The guys know their job well and prices are reasonable. Recommend it.

The same as our Dubai workshops, with no Abu Dhabi premium. A radiator flush is AED 225 and a radiator replacement AED 1850. A gearbox fluid service starts at AED 550, with a filter at AED 825. An AC condenser starts at AED 1075 and a compressor at AED 1650. Front shock absorbers start at AED 1450 and rears at AED 1150. Those are sedan and coupe rates; an X5, X6 or X7 is usually AED 175 to 300 more. A diagnosis is AED 99.
Usually an electric water pump that has failed, a cracked plastic coolant fitting, or a thermostat housing that has started to leak. Many BMW engines use an electric pump that stops without much warning, and a good deal of the coolant circuit is plastic, which goes brittle in sustained heat. Long fast runs on the E11 and E10 are when the system works hardest, so that is when a marginal part gives up. Do not try to reach home: an engine run hot repeatedly costs vastly more than the part that caused it.
Design meeting climate rather than poor quality. The electric water pump gives less warning than a belt-driven one, and the plastic expansion tank, thermostat housing and fittings degrade with heat in a way metal does not. It is predictable enough that we inspect the cooling circuit at every service rather than every third, because finding a brittle hose early is the cheap version of this story.
Usually the valve cover gasket or the oil filter housing gasket. Both harden in heat and begin to weep, and because the oil lands on hot exhaust components it burns off rather than dripping, so you smell it long before you see a mark. It is not an emergency but it does not heal, and caught early it is a gasket job rather than a gasket plus a clean-up.
On the ZF automatics fitted to most BMWs that usually points at fluid condition, and Abu Dhabi driving is hard on it: long runs keep the transmission hot for extended periods, which is what degrades fluid. Caught early a fluid and filter service at AED 825 often resolves it. Left alone it becomes a valve body or a gearbox.
Not yet. Doorstep mechanic visits currently run in Dubai only, so in Abu Dhabi the car comes to a workshop. For cooling, gearbox and suspension work that is the right place for it anyway, since the car needs lifting and proper inspection.
We work with vetted workshops across the emirate, reachable from Khalifa City, Mussafah, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Saadiyat, Al Raha and Al Shamkha. Tell us the area when you book and we route you to the nearest one with an open slot.

The Abu Dhabi commute is a cooling system test

A BMW is built for exactly the driving Abu Dhabi offers: distance, at speed, on good roads. The E11, the E10, the run out to Al Ain. The car is happy doing it, and so is the driver.

The cooling system is the component that quietly pays for it. Many BMW engines use an electric water pump rather than a belt-driven one, and much of the coolant circuit is plastic: expansion tank, thermostat housing, assorted fittings. Heat makes plastic brittle over years, and an electric pump tends to fail abruptly rather than complaining first. Sustained motorway load in summer is the condition that converts a marginal part into a failed one.

That is why a temperature warning on a BMW should be treated differently from one on a simpler car. The likely cause is sudden, and the cost of pressing on to reach home is an engine rather than a pump.

Act on the warning, not after it

The cheap outcomes on this failure path are a radiator flush at AED 225 or a replacement of whichever plastic part has cracked. The expensive outcome is an engine that has been run hot more than once.

Because the difference between those two is a decision made in the first five minutes, the honest advice is the unglamorous one: stop, get it recovered, and have it diagnosed. A diagnosis is AED 99, which is the least expensive line on this page by a wide margin.

Oil leaks and gearbox fluid: the two quieter BMW habits

The valve cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket harden with heat and start to weep. The oil lands on hot exhaust parts and burns off, so the symptom is a hot-oil smell after a drive rather than a stain on the driveway. Worth fixing while it is still just a gasket.

The ZF automatic is durable but heat-sensitive, and old fluid is what turns a smooth shift into a jolt. Abu Dhabi’s long runs keep it hot. A fluid and filter service at AED 825 is the intervention that works at the symptom stage; a valve body is what you buy if you wait.

What else we check

An AC condenser clogged with fine dust presents just like a system low on gas, which matters because a BMW compressor starts at AED 1650 and a condenser at AED 1075. Knowing which one you need is what the inspection buys.

Suspension bushes and dampers age on hot roads, and on a heavy X5 or X7 the resulting vagueness creeps up slowly enough to go unnoticed. Batteries rarely see a third UAE summer. If what you need turns out to be routine servicing rather than a repair, that is fixed-price and cheaper still.
