How it works

From symptom to fix in three steps

Tell us what it's doing, we find why, and you approve the work before it starts.

01

Book a diagnostic

Open the MySyara app or book on the website. Tell us the model and what it's doing, a shudder on acceleration, a warning light, weak AC, and pick a workshop and time.

02

We scan and quote

A technician reads the car's stored fault codes and checks the condition of the transmission, AC, brakes and suspension, then quotes for your specific Mitsubishi before any repair.

We repair it, you approve

A CVT fluid service, an AC recharge, brakes, whatever the scan points to, done with your say-so. Nothing safety-related is touched without your approval.

Pricing

How a repair is priced

A Mitsubishi repair price depends on the model and the fault: a CVT fluid service, an AC recharge and a brake job are very different bills. So we scan first, quote for your car, and you approve before any work, rather than quote a flat figure the real job then overshoots.

Book a Mitsubishi diagnostic

Diagnose before you repair. A scan turns ‘something feels off’ into a clear answer, then you get a quote before any work begins.

Coverage

Mitsubishi workshops across four emirates

Service and repairs for any Mitsubishi at workshops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman. In Dubai, smaller jobs like a battery swap or a quick diagnostic can also come to you.

Dubai workshop + doorstep
Abu Dhabi workshop
Sharjah workshop
Ajman workshop

Doorstep visits (battery, diagnostics) are Dubai-only. A full service or a CVT repair belongs at a workshop where the car can be lifted and inspected properly.

The one owners ask about most is the CVT automatic gearbox on models like the Outlander, Lancer, Mirage and ASX, which can shudder or hesitate on acceleration. Beyond that, the usual UAE concerns are air-conditioning in the heat, the cooling system, and brake and suspension wear from speed bumps and traffic. Mitsubishi's older conventional automatics, by contrast, have a good reliability record.
They can be. Owners report shudder, hesitation on acceleration and odd noises, and the issue has been the subject of a class action and an earlier recall on some Outlander and Lancer CVT models. Caught early, a fluid and software check may address it; left to worsen, a CVT repair is a major job. If your Mitsubishi shudders or hesitates, get it scanned promptly rather than waiting.
It can, particularly for the CVT and the air-conditioning. The CVT's known weak point includes its cooling, and sustained UAE heat adds to that thermal load, so keeping the transmission fluid in good condition matters here. The AC and engine cooling system also work harder in the heat, which is why a pre-summer check is sensible on any car, Mitsubishi included.
The Pajero and Pajero Sport use conventional automatic transmissions rather than the CVT, and are generally regarded as durable workhorses well suited to UAE conditions. Like any older or hard-worked vehicle they need regular servicing, and the usual heat-related attention to AC, cooling and suspension, but they don't carry the specific CVT concern of the smaller models.
MySyara services and repairs any make, including Mitsubishi, at workshops across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman. A diagnostic scan identifies the fault first; you get a quote for your specific car before any repair goes ahead.

The CVT gearbox is the one to watch

If there’s one Mitsubishi issue worth knowing, it’s the CVT automatic transmission fitted to many Outlander, Lancer, Mirage and ASX models. A CVT uses a belt and pulleys rather than fixed gears, and on these cars it has a known set of complaints: a shudder or hesitation when accelerating, a delay before the car pulls away, and sometimes odd noises on deceleration. The issue has been significant enough to draw a class-action lawsuit in the United States over Mitsubishi CVT problems, and an earlier recall covered tens of thousands of Outlander and Lancer cars for delayed acceleration.

It matters more here because the CVT’s known weak point includes its cooling, and a climate that runs hot for half the year adds to that load. The practical advice is not to panic, but to act early: caught soon, a CVT fluid service and a software check can address a developing shudder; left to deteriorate, a CVT becomes one of the more expensive repairs on the car. So if your Outlander or Lancer hesitates or shudders, get it scanned sooner rather than later.

Which Mitsubishis carry the concern, and which don’t

This is a CVT concern, not a verdict on every Mitsubishi. The Pajero and Pajero Sport never used the CVT, running conventional automatics instead, and the older Lancers, Galants and first-generation Outlanders used four- and five-speed conventional autos with a solid reliability record. So before you worry, check what your car actually has: a pre-CVT Lancer or any Pajero simply isn’t part of this conversation, while a recent Outlander, Mirage or ASX is. Whatever the model, the right first move for any symptom is a diagnostic rather than a guess.
