Carry out routine vehicle electrical repairs and support senior electricians on complex jobs.
As a Level 1 Auto Electrical Technician, you'll handle day-to-day electrical jobs — battery/charging checks, lighting, wiring repairs and accessory fitments — while building up to more advanced diagnostic work alongside senior electricians.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine electrical repairs: lighting, fuses, wiring, battery/charging checks
- Fit accessories and basic electrical components under guidance
- Assist Level 2 electricians on complex diagnostic and repair jobs
- Keep the work bay and tools clean, organized and ready for the next job
- Log completed work accurately in the job card/app
Requirements
- Basic auto-electrical technician training/certification
- 1+ years of experience in vehicle electrical work, or a strong automotive electrical training background
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians
- Comfortable with hand tools and basic testing equipment
